Our Mission 2016 destination has been announced. God has led us this year just down the road…to Midland City, AL, (just outside of Dothan) to help Mt. Enon Baptist Church build a new sanctuary building. The advance crew is planning to leave on Friday, June 3, with the official mission dates to be Monday, June 6 through Wednesday, June 15. (NOTE: make sure to program your GPS for Mt. Enon in Midland City…not Dothan because there is a Mt. Enon church in Dothan too!)
NOW is the time to contact Don Wall and get registered for the trip; it’s also time to be praying for it too! Pray that God would show you another brother in Christ, or another man who might need to fellowship with other Christian men, to invite along on this trip!
As a combination fund-raiser and meeting for all Carpenters and their families, there will be a Carpenter BBQ to be held in Waverly, AL, on Saturday, April 23, 2016. It will be from 11am to 4pm EST. Details are below; this event is open to everyone, not just Carpenters and their families (but it would also be a great opportunity to bring some recruits and introduce them!)

To God be the glory for a successful trip to Kansas and getting the building up! We pray that Christ the Lord Community Church go forth in His name, and use this building as a tool to reach the lost in Salina! Here are before and after shots of the project.
After interviewing and prayerful consideration, the East Alabama Carpenters for Christ will be traveling to Salina, Kansas, to help Christ the Lord Community Church build a new sanctuary. This is a Southern Baptist Church planted 15 years ago and is now ready to begin building.
The dates for the trip are June 1 through June 10. Please begin praying NOW for this trip. Please contact Don Wall at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP to let him know if you’ll be attending. We need all the manpower we can to serve God in this mission. Please let us hear from you! Thanks.
I’ve uploaded a few photos provided by church members of Cherry Grove Baptist Church before the fire and during the fire. Attached also is a shot before the end of our mission of the new structure. To God be the glory!
Carpenters, remember the banquet on Aug 9. Contact Don for more details. Thanks!
